DIY and assisted livery, in the heart of Teesdale countryside near Barnard Castle

ABOUT US

Raygill Farm Livery is located in the heart of Teesdale, just 1 mile from Barnard castle and within easy access to the A66. We’re a working farm offering friendly, family orientated DIY and assisted livery, managed by us, Adam & Caroline Wall.

Our family has been at Raygill since 1896 breeding and producing Clydesdales for The Crown Estates. Although the farming has changed, horses have remained, breeding and showing Dales ponies was a life passion of both my grandfather and father.

More recently, Raygill was a riding school for more than 25 years and is now a livery only yard. But the passion and care continues.

“Living on site and being equestrian enthusiasts ourselves we make regular checks on horses and if needed, we’re easily found on the farm somewhere. From happy hackers to junior riders and amateur competition horse owners, Raygill Farm Livery is a great location for every level of horse owner to enjoy their horsey pal.” Adam & Caroline Wall.
